Brazilian cancellation, rescheduling and refund rules, for travel services during the pandemic, is very similar to those adopted in most areas of the world.
In essence the rules say that if you have made (or if you want to make) a reservation of travel services during the pandemic, you have the following rights:
- To change travel dates, or cancel the reservation without penalties, of travel services booked until 31st December 2021, and keep the paid credit for future use, which can be used until 31st December 2022.
- In case the service cannot be provided in the future by the fault of the provider, it must be refunded, until 31st December 2022. The refund from the service provider will not include commissions (from travel agencies, operators, travel websites).
